DISC SCALPER

This Disc Scalper was built under license to Acrowood for a client in Victoria.

The Disc Scalper is used to provide an alternative method of screening over size material out of boiler fuel. The oversize material is carried over by the rotating discs while the acceptable size is allowed to fall through into the fuel system. For it's size the Disc Scalper can handle relative large volumes of material and is more suited to boiler fuel, as opposed to meeting a pulp chip specification.
The Disc Scalper can be made in a range of sizes to meet a variety of capacity requirements.
The one pictured on this page is rated to handle approximately 5 tonnes per hour.

Disc Scalper Specification:

• 2.0 metre long
• 1.2 metre wide
• 5 rows of discs
• 3kW Electric Drive.
