Northern Milltech Inc. is a Canadian company the produce moisture and density system for the Timber Industry.

The MCPRO, pictured here, was recently installed in a sawmill in South Australia. Using measurements taken electronically from sensors placed on top and underneath the timber as it goes through the zone, a "moisture" content is determined by combining the electronic measurements with the size of the timber.
This particular installation provides up to 4 levels of moisture content for sorting the timber into pieces with the same approximate moisture content. This allows better quality drying in the Kilns.
There are currently three systems installed in Australia at this time.
