TimberTech has adopted the following policies to safeguard your personal information. We will limit the collection and use of personal information to what is necessary to administer our business.

Our Web site may contain links to other sites, and we make every effort to link only to sites that share our high standards and respect for privacy. However, we are not responsible for the content or the privacy practices employed by other sites.

TimberTech collects personal information from our visitors on a voluntary basis only. Personal information may include name, title, company, address, phone number, e-mail address, etc. The individual information we collect is used by TimberTech to improve the products and services we offer. We do not rent or sell your personal information to third parties. If you indicate you would like to receive future e-mail communications from TimberTech, we may on occasion send you e-mail with news and information about our products, services and other programs that might be of interest to you. You will have the ability to unsubscribe from our e-mail list at any time. In addition, we may share data with certain contractors and dealers to send you email or post mail about TimberTech offers, or provide customer support.

Our Web server tracks and collects general information about the visits to our Web site. For example, we compile statistics that show the daily number of visitors to our site, the daily requests we receive for particular files, the types of browsers visitors use, the visitors' domain names, and from what countries those requests come. However, we do not correlate this information with data about individual users.

A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard drive when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that the site uses to track the pages you have visited. But the only personal information a cookie can contain is information you supply yourself. A cookie can't read data off your hard disk or read cookie files created by other sites. TimberTech uses cookies solely for the purpose of serving targeted ads on our behalf to visitors when they enter other sites on the internet. To do this, the cookies will collect anonymous information about your visits to the TimberTech web site including your interaction with our product offerings. No personally identifiable information is collected in this process. The anonymous information may then used by TimberTech to target banner advertisements to you when you visit other sites on the internet.

Therefore, we may request and store the following types of specific information: your name, company name, street address, telephone numbers, and e-mail addresses, etc. TimberTech may also retain electronic communications you send to our Webmaster or other TimberTech associates. These may be shared only within TimberTech as a means to continually improve our services.
